I am still alive :o)

Hello my fellow readers. I know you may fear that I
have left permanently...moved away...or fell off
the face of the Earth all together. Well, have no
fear, other than being SO SO busy, I am alive and
well and still writing!!

I am currently homeschooling my oldest daughter,
teaching piano, working as an editor at the
fabulous Wild Rose Press and finishing work on my
full novels A MADNESS MOST SWEET, SOUTHERN FLAMES,
PASSION'S DESTINY and A CINDERELLA LASS.

So I will leave you now my fellow readers with this
final thought for the day....

Carpe Diem! Seize the day. Learn from the past,
prepare for the future, BUT always live in the
present for we are never promised a tomorrow.

Shelby's First Day of School

Shelby had her first day of Kindergarten yesterday.
It went better for her than it did for me. She was
happy and ready to stay and I didn't want to leave.
She's at a new school and a new grade - I guess I'm
just nervous. But she's not, thank goodness.

I hope to keep this going for a while and see how
long it gets ...

Please list below the most interesting novel you

Fun at Museum

Today proved to be a memorable day. I took the
girls to the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences to
see the Dinosaur exhibit. They were excited and
couldn't wait to go until we arrived and they heard
all the noise coming from the robotic creatures.
Both screamed and swore they would never enter. I
finally persuaded my two youngest to see the
robots, but the oldest firmly refused and stayed
outside, telling them hi from a distance. Kids can
be so funny.

I am up again way too late - but I am now going to
go to bed. Just been a long day - and I needed
some quiet time. One of those kind of days.

A Sad Few Days

On Monday Morning, 12 am, my grandmother passed
away. She was my biggest fan, and the only
member of my family who has read my published
novel all the way through. She was always my
biggest fan. I dedicate this page in her
memory.

A day from the Old West

I got some more movies from Blockbuster today. I
just love the Young Riders. It has been almost
two decades since last I saw the show, but it
never ceases to be good. Also, doing research on
Pompeii today for my novel Passion's Desire. I
just hope I will do the time period justice.

Another day infront of the computer

I am busy again in front of the computer -
fighting a migraine. Unfortunately the antibotic
is giving me a worse headache than I had before
the medicine. I hate that the medicine has to
make you feel worse before they can make you feel
better. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

A New Beginning

I have taken a break from work for about ten
months now. I had a little baby girl and a
deadline to meet with Harlequin to send in my
complete ms A MADNESS MOST SWEET. Now I have
finished that and I can start working again. My
daughter is also sleeping through the night now
allowing me to work as well. It is good to be
back.

A Day of Dealing with the Insurance Company!

Today, I got a crash course in the pains and
suffering that could occur when one tries to deal
with insurance companies...especially medical. I
am currently 17 weeks pregnant and have been
dealing with contractions for the past five
weeks. They do not stop, even when I sleep. So
far I have only dialated one centimeter.... but
that could change. My doctor is concerned so he
wants me to start taking progesterone shots that
should stop the labor as long as I take them once
a week for the next several weeks until I hit 34
weeks. Well, my lovely insurance company does
not think I need this so they don't want to cover
it. In fact, they are trying to get me to get
the pills and take it orally instead of a shot in
the hip. If I do this the chances of it being
effective drop by 50 percent. Can you believe
this? They also got mad at me in my last
pregnancy since I had to be hospitalized for pre-
term labor. They called me on the phone to
insist that I try to rest, drink water, and not
run to the hospital since it was probably
nothing. If I would have listened to them I
would probably have lost the baby. I hate
insurance people!!!!
